Cancellation & Refund Policy

At goSelective Travels, we understand that travel plans may change. This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, rescheduling, and related requests are handled for all bookings made through our website or customer support channels.

1. General Policy

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email, WhatsApp, or any officially designated communication channel of goSelective Travels. Cancellation requests are considered effective only after they have been acknowledged by our team.


2. Cancellation by the Traveler

If you choose to cancel your booking, cancellation charges will apply based on the number of days remaining before the scheduled departure date.

11–20 days before departure 50% of the total booking amount
6–10 days before departure 75% of the total booking amount
0–5 days before departure or No Show 100% of the booking amount

Note: Certain trips, permits, flights, hotels, or special promotional offers may have different cancellation terms, which will be communicated during booking.


3. Booking Amount

The booking amount or registration fee is generally non-refundable, unless otherwise stated in writing or required by applicable law.


4. Refund Process

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method wherever possible.
  • Refund processing may take approximately 7–14 business days, depending on banks and payment providers.
  • Bank charges, payment gateway fees, taxes, or third-party service charges may be deducted where applicable.

5. Cancellation by goSelective Travels

We reserve the right to cancel or modify any trip due to insufficient participation, weather conditions, natural disasters, government restrictions, safety concerns, road closures, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

In such cases, travelers may be offered one of the following, subject to operational feasibility:

  • Rescheduling to a future departure.
  • Travel credit for future bookings.
  • Refund of the amount paid after deducting any non-recoverable third-party expenses, where applicable.

6. Force Majeure

Refunds may not be available for disruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Floods or landslides
  • Heavy snowfall
  • Earthquakes
  • Pandemics or epidemics
  • War or civil unrest
  • Government travel restrictions
  • Transport strikes
  • Road closures
  • Extreme weather conditions

We will make reasonable efforts to provide suitable alternatives, but additional expenses arising from such events may be the responsibility of the traveler.


7. No Show Policy

If a traveler fails to report at the designated meeting point, arrives late, misses transportation, or voluntarily leaves the trip after commencement, no refund will be provided for the unused portion of the services.


8. Rescheduling Requests

Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and operational feasibility. Additional charges may apply due to price differences, supplier policies, or revised travel costs.

Approval of a rescheduling request is at the sole discretion of goSelective Travels.


9. Third-Party Services

Flights, train tickets, hotels, permits, activity providers, transport operators, and other third-party services are governed by their respective cancellation policies. Any non-refundable charges imposed by such providers will be deducted from the refundable amount, if applicable.


10. Promotional Offers

Bookings made under promotional offers, discount campaigns, coupon codes, referral programs, early bird pricing, or flash sales may be partially refundable or non-refundable, as specified in the respective offer terms.


11. Transfer of Booking

Subject to availability and operational approval, a traveler may request to transfer their booking to another eligible person. Transfer requests may attract administrative or operational charges and must comply with all applicable booking requirements.


12. Refund Exceptions

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Unused services after the trip has commenced.
  • Missed departures due to late arrival.
  • Failure to carry valid travel documents.
  • Removal from the trip due to misconduct or violation of our Terms & Conditions.
  • Personal reasons after the applicable cancellation deadline.

13. Policy Updates

goSelective Travels reserves the right to amend this policy at any time without prior notice. The latest version published on our website shall apply to all future bookings.
